Petroibérica, a company belonging to the Grupo Alves Bandeira, will take part in the 25th Anniversary of the "Asphalt Rubber<>Rubberized Asphalt” (RAR 2025) Conference, taking place from October 14 to 16, 2025, at the National Laboratory for Civil Engineering (LNEC) in Lisbon.

This special edition celebrates 25 years of one of the world’s most prestigious international forums dedicated to innovation and sustainability in asphalt mix production, bringing together researchers, industry experts, companies, and decision-makers to discuss the latest technical and environmental advances in the use of recycled rubber and alternative energy sources in asphalt manufacturing processes.

Within this context, Petroibérica was invited to participate both as an exhibitor and a guest speaker, reinforcing its active role in the energy transition and the promotion of sustainable solutions.

Luís Vieira, Business Unit Director at Petroibérica, will be one of the speakers in the panel "Cutting Costs, Cutting Carbon, Building Tomorrow: Economic and Environmental Benefits of LPG and Natural Gas in Asphalt Production”, where he will discuss the economic and environmental advantages of using LPG and Natural Gas in asphalt production — two energy vectors increasingly recognized for their efficiency and lower carbon footprint.
