As part of its 50th anniversary celebrations, Grupo Alves Bandeira has reinforced its commitment to social responsibility by promoting a diverse range of initiatives aimed at providing direct and effective support to local communities. Among the various actions taken, particular emphasis is placed on the consistent support given to dozens of Volunteer Fire Brigades, especially through the AB Vantagem program—an initiative that is increasingly playing a significant role in supporting the national associative network.

Created to foster close and mutually beneficial relationships with local institutions—social, cultural, sports, and recreational—the AB Vantagem program already includes more than 750 registered associations across the country. It represents an annual support value exceeding €250,000, whether through direct value generated by the program or through additional support for initiatives and events promoted by partner associations. Volunteer Fire Brigades are among the main beneficiaries, reflecting clear recognition of the vital role they play in their communities every day.

According to Pedro Bandeira, Executive Board Member of Grupo Alves Bandeira, "this program reflects the spirit of sharing and closeness that has always been part of our culture.
