The Grupo Alves Bandeira has formalized a cooperation agreement with the Universidade da Beira Interior (UBI), reinforcing a strategic relationship aimed at fostering knowledge sharing, applied research, and the development of projects with impact in the energy and road engineering sectors.

In a context shaped by the challenges of the energy transition, Grupo Alves Bandeira positions itself as an active player, not only through its direct market operations but also via partnerships that accelerate innovation and promote sustainable solutions. The agreement was signed by UBI’s Rector, Ana Paula Duarte, and Luís Vieira, Director of the Gas Business Unit at Grupo Alves Bandeira. With a duration of two years, the partnership is based on shared objectives of leveraging synergies and contributing to the qualification of future professionals, while strengthening the regional and national impact of research and higher education. Key areas of cooperation include research projects, seminars, conferences, and other academic initiatives, as well as the hosting of students for internships and the development of research work.
