Scheduled for 7 August, at 10:00 p.m., at Parque de Lazer do Baião, Góis will host the Tony Carreira Charity Concert, as part of the Festas da Vila. Tickets will have a symbolic price of 5 euros, with all proceeds reverting in full to the Associação Sara Carreira.

Some places remain forever connected to a story. In 2021, Góis was preparing to host a very special moment: Sara Carreira’s first solo concert. Although that day never came to take place, the town has forever preserved a symbolic memory of the artist and her family.

Born from Tony Carreira’s wish to return to Góis for a tribute of special significance, this concert was made possible through the close relationship between Alves Bandeira, the Associação Sara Carreira and the Municipality of Góis.

In a municipality where Alves Bandeira opened its first service station, this connection was instrumental in bringing together the efforts needed to create the conditions for this charitable initiative.

More than a concert, this will be an evening of gathering, remembrance and solidarity, bringing people together around a shared cause and contributing to the work carried out by the Associação Sara Carreira in supporting young people with talent, merit and financial difficulties.
