Grupo Alves Bandeira, one of the 50 largest Portuguese economic groups, has been marking the celebration of its 50 years of activity with a set of institutional and charitable initiatives carried out over the past year.

Positioning itself as an important driver of the national economy, the Group, fully Portuguese-owned, has followed a path of sustained growth rooted in a strong family identity. Since its foundation, it has maintained a culture of closeness with its employees, partners, and communities, along with a long-term vision focused on innovation and responsible development.

Founded in Portugal, the Group has consolidated itself as a diversified organization and one of the leading players in the mobility, energy, and aftermarket sectors. From traditional fuels to electric mobility, including tyres, lubricants, electricity, construction, insurance, among others, the creation and development of new projects and proprietary brands has been the main engine of its growth and evolution at both national and international levels.

Over the course of this half-century, its management has been characterized by a strong commitment to modernization, innovation, and business diversification, always with a deep concern for sustainability and the well-being of its teams, recognized as one of the Group’s key pillars of success.

"Celebrating 50 years is, above all, about recognizing the work, dedication, and commitment of all the people who have been, and continue to be, part of the Group. We have grown significantly over this period, but we have always remained true to our values: closeness, hard work, customer focus, dynamism, and flexibility,” says Pedro Bandeira, Executive Director of the Alves Bandeira Group.

Legacy of Values – A unique story.

To conclude the celebration of this historic milestone, the Alves Bandeira Group has just launched a documentary marking its 50th anniversary. The film revisits the company’s journey, highlights key moments in its history, and looks to the future, giving voice to the people who are part of this journey—from the family to employees, and from partners to the communities where the Group operates. More than celebrating numbers or business achievements, this documentary reflects 50 years of a shared vision, built generation after generation, with an eye on the future and with the same ambition and sense of responsibility that marked the beginning of the project.
